She is a dedicated and highly skilled Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), passionate about providing exceptional mental health care to those in need.

All her professional life, Siobhan has been dedicated to supporting individuals facing acute psychiatric crises, addiction challenges, and chronic mental health conditions. She primarily works around crisis stabilization units and psychiatric hospitals to deliver whole-person, patient-centered care to people of all ages.

Siobhan firmly believes in addressing mental health challenges through a combination of medical expertise, empathetic listening, and individualized care plans.

Siobhan’s journey began with a strong nursing and social work foundation. She initially trained as a social worker in the U.K., conducting psychosocial assessments and supporting individuals and families facing emotional and behavioral difficulties.

However, her love of direct patient care drew her back into nursing, where she felt she could make even more of a positive impact.

Throughout the years, she has worked within various psychiatric contexts, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, forensic mental health units, and addiction treatment centers. Her roles have ranged from direct patient care as a psychiatric nurse to leading treatment programs as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Siobhan takes a holistic approach to psychiatric care, recognizing that mental health is linked to physical, emotional, and social well-being. This perspective drives her treatment philosophy, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support beyond medication. In crisis stabilization units, she excels at conducting rapid psychiatric evaluations, managing acute symptoms, and developing individualized treatment plans.
